The Austrian National Parliament has voted in favour of the country’s new Renewable Expansion Law (EAG). The law sets a 100% renewable electricity consumption goal by 2030 for Austria – up from 75% right now.

- Nordex Wind Turbines: VSB Commissions Flintbek Wind Farm in Schleswig-HolsteinFlintbek/Dresden (Germany) - The new Flintbek wind farm in the district of Rendsburg-Eckernförde has been officially commissioned. The operator is the VSB Group, a project developer for renewable energy and battery storage. Construction work on the two wind turbines with a total capacity of 11.4 MW began in summer 2024.

- PNE Stock Rises: PNE AG Successful in Wind Energy Tender with 57.8 MWCuxhaven (Germany) - The PNE Group successfully placed all of its submitted projects in the third tender round for onshore wind energy conducted by the German Federal Network Agency. These include the repowering project âHassendorf,â the wind farm extension âGerdshagen,â and the energy park âNiederkrüchtenâ - all proprietary projects of the PNE Group.
