Spain auctions 2.2GW of onshore wind and retracts clawback measures
The Spanish Government published the results of its 3.3GW technology-neutral renewable energy auction. Onshore wind won a total of 2.258MW at an average of €30.18. This is amongst the cheapest strike prices in Europe ever and only slightly above the price in January’s auction in Spain.

The National Energy and Climate Plans confirm the bright future for solar in Europe, with 209 GW of solar PV capacity set to be added by 2030, or 19 GW per year. Solar will continue to be the most-installed energy generation technology in Europe between 2020 and 2030, together with wind energy.

The operator is the VSB Group, a project developer for renewable energy and battery storage. Construction work on the two wind turbines with a total capacity of 11.4 MW began in summer 2024.

The total capacity of the two wind farms exceeds 43 MW.
- PNE Stock Rises: PNE AG Successful in Wind Energy Tender with 57.8 MWCuxhaven (Germany) - The PNE Group successfully placed all of its submitted projects in the third tender round for onshore wind energy conducted by the German Federal Network Agency. These include the repowering project âHassendorf,â the wind farm extension âGerdshagen,â and the energy park âNiederkrüchtenâ - all proprietary projects of the PNE Group.
